Ric 330, Mapleglo finish, made in USA in August 1994. We're seldom blessed with Rics in this part of the world, but my oh my, it's hard to think of a better looking stage guitar than a big old 330. This one is in remarkable shape, it's weathered the decades beautifully with barely a knock to show for it. The natural finish is a delight: the grain pattern of the maple is fairly even and wide and meanders around majestically; it's very pretty indeed. The neck is perfectly straight and in great order; the three piece construction keeps it super rigid and resonant. It's a moderate width and depth and surprisingly natural in the hands; once you get strumming it's hard to stop. The Hi-Gain pickups deliver a snappy, defined tone that's perfect for vintage cleans but also enjoys a generous dose of gain; there's an excellent balance of eloquent diction and growly aggression. This arrived case-less, so we've paired it with a brand new deluxe hard case that's a good fit. Better practise your British invasion riffs quicksmart!
