Rickenbacker 4003S Jetglo 2015

Rickenbacker 4003S, made in USA 2015, Jetglo finish. These Ric basses have a certain presence to them, it's hard to ignore this one! The 4003S is an updated take on the 4001 with no binding and rounded edges, so it's a little more comfortable and a little lighter than a 4001. It feels awesome, no qualms there. The build quality is super tight: perfect frets and finish, the neck is perfectly straight and it rings like a bell unplugged. Plugged in, there's heaps of that classic Ric grind: heaps of treble and brightness, paired with a growly and extremely immediate low end that really brings a whole extra dimension to your riffs. The black finish looks superb too; sure these come in other finishes, but... Jetglo for life, right? This one is in superb shape and would suit a new buyer, if it was even possible to buy a new Ric in this country, which it basically isn't. Ask me nicely and I'll throw in a tab for Ace of Spades for free.
