(SOLD) Squier Vintage Modified Fretless Jazz Bass Sunburst 2016
Squier VM Fretless Jazz, sunburst, made in Indo 2016. This is a lot of fun. The Vintage Modified series was Squier's highest end offering in it's day, so this is made to a pretty tidy standard and feels good in the hands. We strung it up with a super high quality set of flatwound strings by La Bella, so it's now sounding pretty classy: round, warm and snappy. If you're keen on getting your Jaco on, here's a pretty affordable way to get going and see if the fretless life is for you.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor dimples on the end and bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The fretboard has a few marks from wearing roundwound strings for a while, nothing nasty. The back has light scuffs on the horns and back edge, no major marks. The sides have a few dimples near the jack. The front has some light scuffs on the horns from play, no major marks. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is very low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. No frets means no fret wear. Set up with La Bella 'Deep Talkin' flatwound strings.
