Fender Jag in rare ice blue, made in Japan 93/94. This one really does look awesome. I can't remember ever seeing another one of these in this colour. There's a handful of dings etc to remind you it lived through most of the 90s, but it's in pretty good shape. It has that slinky Jag-steez and jangle, you can dial in a bunch of different tones and blast off into space. The offset body is perfectly weighted and always comfortable, and the slim neck feels great in the hand, it's an easy player. Proper cool guitar!
Model: Fender Jaguar '66 reissue (JG66)
Made: Japan, 1993-94 (serial N070080)
Finish: ice blue (faded/yellowed), 3-ply mint guard
Body: alder
Neck: maple with rosewood board, dot inlays
Mods: none
Neck & bridge pickup: Fender Japan Jag style
Case: none
Cosmetic condition notes: Minor finish wear. There's a handful of proper dings, mostly on the back. There's some dings and chips on the back, near the strap pin and around the bottom. The only ones that that's semi-visible from the front is near the lead circuit switches and a checking-style crack in the headstock lacquer, both are very minor. Guard has some normal play wear, chrome is discoloured, bridge and machine heads quite heavily discoloured. Overall: good condition (7/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. Moderate fret wear with the beginning of some minor pitting, but plenty of life left, around 6.5/10. All electrics tested and working fine, there's some minor noise when adjusting the pots. Setup with fresh 11/50s and full of attitude.
