Fender Jazzmaster, candy apple red, made in Japan 1993/4. For a start, this looks awesome. The finish has held up very well over the years, and the matching headstock really pops; you really can't fault these for style. The classic JM electronics allow for a heap of different tones, all easily switchable; you can dial in a couple of go-to settings and quickly flick between them. The big, thick, punchy tone is perfect for layering effects and creating big walls of sound. The neck is slim, round and cooperative, it's playing like a Jazzmaster should. 100% cool!
Model: Fender Jazzmaster '66 reissue (JM66-65)
Made: Japan, 1993-94 (N018658)
Finish: candy apple red, 3-ply white guard
Body: alder
Neck: maple with rosewood board, dot inlays
Mods: locking style strap buttons
Pickup: Stock Fender Japan Jazzmaster style
Case: none
Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. There's a couple of chips on the back and a little mild buckle rash, as well as a ding up in the shoulder area on the front. There's a handful of other minor marks around the body, nothing really noticeable. The guard and pickups have yellowed with age, the bridge and machine heads have dulled a little but still work fine. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Recently been through a Topshelf setup with fresh 11-49 gauge strings. Playing very well!
