Fender Strat, '54 reissue with soft V-neck and Lace Sensor Gold pickups, MIJ 1991 in tuxedo B&W. This totally kicks arse! The factory fitted Lace-Sensor pickups are brilliant: bright, full, responsive, warm and almost noiseless. The neck is a soft-V, so it gradually gets rounder as you work your way up towards the body; not the most obvious choice but it really does feel great in the hands. The early 90s Fujigen made Fenders are brilliant value, you get the famously meticulous build quality as well as quality components like the stamped saddles and alder body. The gloss black finish is looking pretty suave, it's got the beginnings of minor checking behind the bridge but generally is looking pretty clean. This is one of the best sounding Strats we've ever had, it takes around 30 seconds of having it in the hands to fall in love.

Cosmetic condition notes: Minor finish wear. There's some scratches and dimples around the body, but given the guitar is 26 years old, there's remarkably few. There's the beginning of some finish checking on the black lacquer behind the bridge, you have to look pretty closely to see it and I can't really get it to show in pics. The board has coloured beautifully to a rich honey colour over the years, it looks great. Overall condition: very good.
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good. Frets have some wear have plenty of life left. Recently been through a Topshelf setup with 10/46 strings. Very addictive Strat, hard to put down!
