Fender Strat, made in Japan 2014, in limited edition orange burst over quilt maple. The limited-run finishes Fender do for the Japan-only market tend to be the most outrageous, this is a great example! The quilt maple top is stunning, it's truly something to behold. Add some mango-coloured lacquer, gold hardware, pearloid guard and a clean maple board and you've got a bling-tastic head turner. You get the '62 style quick slim neck, but unusually for a '62, the board is maple instead of rosewood; it's very comfortable to play. Aside from the looks, she packs plenty of sonic punch too; the alder body lends the single coils a thick, bright spank with plenty of attack and body.

Cosmetic condition notes: very minor finish wear. There's a handful of minor scratches and dimples, but nothing really noticeable. Gold hardware is all in good condition with only minor discolouration. Minor scratches on the pickguard only. Overall condition: excellent, almost mint (9/10).

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have minor wear but look almost new, 9/10. Recently been through a Topshelf setup with 10/46 strings. Sassy!
