Squier Silver Series Strat, made in Japan 1993/4, blue/green 'foto flame' burst finish. This is a cool one! These Silver Series guitars marked a return to Japan's Fujigen factory for Squier, and the build quality is notoriously excellent. This one adds up nicely in the hands, it's a simple and effective Strat with a nice balanced tone and a fast neck. The finish is pretty eye-catching, it's certainly a cool look. The little cracks in the adhered flame pattern add a certain cheeky heart-on-sleeve confession that it's not actual maple; it's got it's own kitsch appeal. Japanese Squier Strats aren't exactly common, grab a little slice of the 90s for yourself.

Cosmetic condition notes: Moderate finish wear. There's some cracks in the 'foto flame' finish, one near the jack and one near the top horn, as well as four little cracks on the back; check the pics. There's some normal play-wear on the guard and the back plate is missing. There's a few little dimples here and there, but it's in pretty good shape. Overall: good condition (7/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Setup with fresh 10/46s and feeling great.
