Warwick Corvette Standard Bubinga, made in Germany 2004. This is a superb sounding bass, it's so fat it's outrageous. The body is a gorgeous piece of bubinga, it looks incredible. There's a bit of weight to it, but it comes with it's reward: the tone. It’s bright, fat, rich with an enormous and super tight low end. There’s a certain thing Warwick basses have through the low end that’s a little hard to describe, a certain combination of lightning quick immediacy and thick, hefty lows... this is very, very good. The neck is a three piece ovangkol job with a wenge board, so it’s super rigid and perfectly straight, plus the oil finish feels very slick. I’ve noted an increased interest in German W basses of late; this has already turned a bunch of heads. The sound of wood!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock has a minor scuff on the end. One tuner is missing a washer but they all function well. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor glossing from play only. The back has a few little rub marks around the neck joint and top horn, no major marks. The sides are pretty clean, just a dimple on the bottom horn and in the elbow area The front is pretty tidy, just some rub wear near the neck pickup really. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. Electronics all tested and working properly. Frets look great, 8/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 45/105 strings.
