Warwick Corvette Standard, natural finish, made in Germany 2000. This is a monster bass. Warwick were really hitting their stride in the late 90s/early 00s, showing up in the hands of some massive bands and becoming quite the market presence. This probably won't surprise you: it's pretty heavy. But, you will be rewarded for your trouble with a tone that you just can't get from a different bass: lows as weighty and rounded as Saturn's many moons, an attack as fast and punchy as a Western Sydney pub in the 80s and bell-like clarity bringing every note to life in frightening detail. The natural sustain and resonance are awesome, the neck is straight and stable and the hardware is sturdy and reliable. If you've always wanted one, well, here's your chance.
