AXL Badwater HSS ST-Style Distressed Natural 2010
AXL Badwater, relic natural finish, made in China pretty recently. AXL guitars seem to have been lost to the sands of time, but this is a pretty respectable little creature. It's approximately Strat-flavoured, but with skinnier horns and a slightly slimmer body. The body has a dark stain, satin poly and then some light relic treatment, so it's got a cool cowboy or steampunk kinda look to it. The neck feels good, it's slim and quick, and it holds tune nicely. The pickups are good too: clear and snappy, pretty fat and full... can't argue with that. It will get you going, that's for sure.
