Charvel Pro Mod So-Cal Style 1, Slime Green, made in Mexico 2022. This guitar is very close to brand new: it was purchased at the Charvel dealer around the corner from our store two days ago before landing with us. Nothing too strange was going on, but... surely someone else's loss is your gain. Charvel's Mex-made stuff is nicely made, with a good spec list: compound radius fretboard, rolled edges, 1000 Series FLoyd tremolo, DUncan pickups; lots of good stuff. It plays smooth and fast all the way up the board, it's responsive and friendly. The tone is on the hot side, without diving into active pickup territory.: slicing and snappy up the top, heaps of kick and snarl through the mids, fat and thumpy lows. The finish is truly outrageous, it looks wild. Better shred than dead, right?
