Edwards E-RS-32M Mini Random Star Red 2000
Edwards Mini Random Star, red made in Japan 2000. Aw, so cute. The Random Star is a big deal in the ESP universe: it's the signature model for Akira Takasaki of Japanese metal royalty Loudness, The full size model came out in the early 80s, and original examples will set you back $10k minimum. This one was an early-00s era oddity: the mini version, with built in speaker. It's got a cute 18" scale neck, which feels great in the hands, and very decent hardware, so it holds tune and sounds good. The red finish, wild shape and 'broken mirror' guard are all super cool touches. This is so much fun, it's perfectly rifftastic.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has scuffs and dimples on the end and treble edge, a couple of dents on the bass edge and minor scuffs on the back up the top. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and rub wear on the back only. The back has a chip on the top edge up from the ferrules, a long scratch above the control cavity and widespread minor scuffs and surface scratches. The sides have minor scuffs on the top horn, scuffs, dimples and a couple of dents in the elbow area, scuffs near the jack and dimples on the bottom horn. The front has dents near the jack and some play wear on the guards and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
