Fender Jazzmaster American Professional Mystic Surf Green 2017
Fender Am Pro Jazzmaster, Mystic Surf Green, made in USA 2017. The American Professional series replaced the long-running American Standards, and for the first time in many years, and much to our delight, included some offset models. The updated modern take on the Jazzy featured simplified electronics, a tidier and easier version of the Offset Vibrato tailpiece, a Mustang-style single slotted bridge, a modern 9.5" radius neck with tall frets and some cool colours. I'll grant that the finish has a silly name, but it does look fantastic and paired with the maple board, it's a treat. The playability is very good here: it's comfy and quick in the hands, and the hardware updates eliminate some of the common qualms with more vintage-correct Jazzmaster models. The tone is bright, lively and articulate, with that slicing clarity we all came for very much intact. This one is in amazing shape and includes all the original goodies. What a snazzmaster.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back. The back has minor scuffs on the horns and dimples in the elbow area. The sides have minor scuffs on the bottom horn. The front has dimples near the jack, scuffs around the tailpiece and play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
