Gibson Les Paul 60s Tribute Vintage Sunburst 2013
Gibson LP 60s Tribute, sunburst, made in USA 2013. The Tribute series launched in the mid 2010s as Gibson's most affordable USA-made offerings, with some stripped down takes on classic models from bygone decades. The 60s style Les Paul gets the trapezoid inlays, a bound carved top, plain back and sides, two humbuckers and a set of Grover kidney bean tuners. It's all the crucial LP stuff, without the fancy flame top or bound board etc that tend to make them so pricey. The satin finish was designed to wear quickly, so this one has rubbed up to gloss in the high contact areas and has a certain streetsmart look to it. Plug it in, and it does the thing: dark and thick, heaps of growl down low with a creamy midrange and a brisk treble; perfect for punk, grunge or classic rock stuff. This is only a handful of bucks more than you'd pay for a new Epiphone LP Standard (good heavens!) and is a pretty fun way to score yourself a cool Les made in 'MURICA.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end, scuffs on the treble side and a dent on the back in the serial number. The is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and plenty of rub wear on the back only. The back has dimples around the switch cavity and bottom horn, rub wear along the top and bottom edges, dimples in the elbow area, back edge, bottom edge and middle of the body. The sides have dimples and scuffs around the front strap pin dimples and rub wear in the elbow area, back edge and near the jack, a bald patch from rubbing in the waist area on the bottom edge and some dimples on the bottom horn. The front has a dent and rub wear on the top edge up from the neck pickup, rub wear in the elbow area, dimples near the knobs and some play wear on the horns.
Overall: good condition (7/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 7/10, minor wear only
