Gibson LP Standard, Honeyburst, made in USA 1997. Gibson were kicking some goals in the 90s; this is a great example. The Les Paul Standard is among the most iconic instruments of all time, and this is a cool part of that heritage. It's got a slim 60s style neck, a plain maple top and a gorgeous one piece mahogany back. You have to get pretty high up the price ladder these days to get a one piece back, so this is a cool score. The pickups were switched out for a set of Seymour's finest, which absolutely does no harm. The bridge pickup is creamy, crunchy and complex, while the neck is smooth, fat and clear. The warm glow of the top looks all the better for three decades of natural wear, it's a got an inviting aesthetic. This is a great Gibson, it will surely Les up your life perfectly.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has scuffs and dents on the end and some dents on the corners, as well as minor scratches around the logo on the front. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor scuffs and dimples and some stand burn on the back only. The back has minor scuffs, dimples and surface scratches around the whole body, no major marks. The sides have minor scuffs around the whole body, as well as some dents in the elbow area and some surface scratches near the jack. The front has dimples in the elbow area and near the knobs, a scuff near the neck pickup and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (7/10)

Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
