Gibson Les Paul Studio Ebony 2020
Gibson LP Studio, black, made in USA 2020. If you're after a no-nonsense guitar dialed to deliver the goods for rock, punk and grunge stuff, it's hard to look past a Studio. This one is a pretty recent model in very slick shape, and it plays very smoothly indeed. The slim 60s neck is fast and comfy, and the body is pretty lightweight and well balanced. The classic curves looks sleek under the gloss black, and the contrasting cream pickup rings are a cool little detail. The tone is dark and warm, with a creamy midrange abounding in harmonics and a pleasing smooth treble on top. This one includes the original case and docs and saves you a small fortune compared to a brand new example... you'll have enough change to score yourself a nasty distortion pedal and a nice leather jacket to match.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor scuffs and rub wear only. The back has minor scuffs near the switch cavity, middle of the body and elbow area. The sides have dimples in the elbow area and scuffs near the jack. The front has dimples near the back edge and elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 9/10, minor wear only
