Gibson SG Standard Heritage Cherry 2007
Gibson SG Standard, cherry, made in USA 2007. AC/DC just finished a lap of the country, so surely, someone out there is feeling the need to add this fine guitar to their life, right? The SG launched in 1961, replacing the Les Paul at the time and turning a lot of heads with it's assertive curves and lightweight body. This one is a great example, with a chunky neck, a lightweight but well balanced body and plenty of unplugged volume. Plug it in, and you get what you came for: thick and round on the neck pickup with a girthy punch, creamy and snarly on the bridge with a generous kick. The aged binding, faded inlays and minor play wear make the cherry pop perfectly, it looks unreal. Good enough for Angus, right?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the top the top edge and some dimples on the bottom edge and around the edge on the front, as well as some scuffs around the logo and inlay. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and some rub wear on the back only. The back has surface scratches in the middle of the body and around the control cavity and some scuffs in the elbow area and back edge. The sides have minor dimples around the whole body, no major marks. The front has scuffs around the knobs, dimples and rub wear in the elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
