Gretsch Electromatic G5435 Pro Jet Black Double Cutaway 2010
Gretsch Electromatic Pro Jet, black, made in China 2007. Gretsch launched their Electromatic series around 1998, with a trimmed down version of their iconic Duo Jet the primary offering. This sounds great: the bridge pickup is raspy and rich with heaps of girth and character, while the neck pickup is dense and full and surprisingly jazz-able. The neck is a comfy rounded shape, it sits nicely in the hands and never makes you work too hard. For a slim dime you get heaps of guitar here, it's a smooth operator for sure.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has scuffs on the end, edges and back. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and rub wear on the back only. The back has minor dents in the middle and back edge, as well as dimples on the neck join, back edge and elbow area and widespread minor scuffs around the whole body. The sides have minor dimples around the whole body as well as a dent on the top horn and a chip on the bottom horn. The front has dimples near the knobs, switch and elbow area, scuffs around the tailpiece and elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: good condition (7/10)
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have minor wear only, 8/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
