Gretsch G5220 Electromatic Jet Black 2021
Gretsch G5520 Jet, black, made in China 2021. The Duo Jet is a classic genre: like a Les Paul, but lighter, slicker and with that recognisable deep bark. This is a recent model with a quirky V-Stoptail and a pair of Black Top pickups. The neck is slim and agreeable and the hardware is sturdy and reliable. Tone-wise, this is smooth and creamy, with a snarly midrange and plenty of plonk down low and a bristly, bright top end, especially on the bridge pickup. If you're after a smooth operator to get going with playing on, this is a good option.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has no major marks. The is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear only. The back has minor scuffs near the neck join and around the control cavity. The sides have a minor dent on the top horn and some dimples near the jack. The front has minor dimples up from the bridge and in the elbow area, as well as some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 9/10, minor wear only
