Jackson X Series Soloist SLX DX Bloodshot Crackle 2024
Jackson Soloist SLX DX, nasty red and white crackle, made in China 2024. Perfect for church or the classy jazz club, right? This nasty pastie was made last year as part of Jackson's midrange X Series, and it presents as almost brand new. The Soloist shape means a trad superstrat style body with a slick neck-through build, perfect if you're chugging down low one minute and wailing up high the next. The neck has a compound radius and a shred-D style shape, so it's really built for speed. Our resident shredpissant Steve did a great setup on this one, so it's playing fast and dangerous now. The pickups are hot and heavy with plenty of natural bass and midrange kick. You can pull a decent clean tone, but we all know that's for snowflakes. The finish is perfectly obnoxious, it looks horrendous/amazing and that's how we like it. If you were eyeing off a new one, save yourself a few avocados and put the money towards your therapy bill. Hell. Yeah.
