(SOLD) LTD H-308 8-String Matte Black 2011
LTD H-308, very black, made in China 2008. This bruiser dates to pretty early in the scheme of eight string guitars... it was made a few months before tapwizards Animals as Leaders released their first record and got us all hot under the collar for guitars with moarrrr strings. As with all stuff by LTD, it's really nicely executed. The fretwork, finish and hardware are all sturdy and sensible, and the neck is pretty easy to get your hand around with a nut that's similar in width a a classical acoustic. The EMG humbuckers do what they said they would: thick juicy bass, heaps of output, reasonably clear cleans and very filthy dirty tones... ticks the chug box. This is a pretty affordable ticket to the extended range party, so if you're up for a good time and don't want to go to therapy just yet, here's your shot.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a decent scratch on the bottom edge and some scuffs on the top edge from a string winder, as well as light scuffs on the back. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor scuffs and rub wear on the back only. The back has widespread rub wear and light scuffs on both horns and in the elbow area and back edge. The sides have light scuffs on the top horn and elbow area and some dimples and rub wear on the bottom horn and near the jack. The front has rub wear on the elbow area and around the knobs, as well as some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (7.5/10)
Playing Condition Notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
