LTD Kirk Hammett KH-V Black Sparkle 2023
ESP LTD KH-V, black sparkle, made in Korea 2023. Metallica are the biggest metal band of all time. Kirk Hammett is their ever-ready lead riffman, and this is the latest version of signature shredstick. The specs are very speccy: locking tuners, fixed bridge. Kirk signature EMG pickups, ebony fretboard, African korina body. Korina is a beautiful timber, known for it's breathy articulate highs and mids and being both very hard and very light. It's a laugh to cover such a beautiful expensive timber with paint and sparkles, but hey: this is rock and roll, folks. The finish looks superb: it's a silver and charcoal fine flake over black, and it's glam as hell. The pickups deliver the goods: walloping bass, smooth mids, snarly highs, heaps of gain. These fetch stupid cash new these days, and this one is in great shape: Kirk reckons it's a very snazzy buy.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a scuff on the end of the point. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back has no major marks. The sides have minor scuffs on the end of the points. The front has minor play wear on the guard.
Overall: excellent condition (9.5/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 strings and tuned to Eb standard.
Fret Life: 9/10, minor wear only
