PRS SE McCarty 594 Black Gold Burst 2023
PRS SE 594, black gold burst, made in Indonesia 2022. The 594 model is named for the scale length, 24.594", which is technically the scale length Gibson models measure to. The hardware and neck borrows from vintage G style shapes, while the body is all Paul. The pickups split via the push/pull controls to single coil style sounds, so you can get a punch of different textures out of this. The signature smooth clarity and bell-like treble we enjoy from PRS gear is still very much on offer here, although the slightly shorter scale does add a little extra gooeyness to the lows and mids. The finish looks great too, super classy.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the top and back. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and rub wear on the back only. The back has minor dimples near the neck join and some light scuffs along the back edge and around the control cavity. The sides have minor scuffs near the jack. The front has scuffs near the jack and play wear on the horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 9/10, minor wear only
