Schecter Blackjack C-7 Black 2006

Schecter Blackjack C-7, wearing black,, made in Korea 2006. Schecter stuff has long been very nicely made. This meanie dates to the middle of the screamo era, when the catalog featured a lot of big fringes and tight pants, and was made at the always excellent WMI factory. It's a super solid seven string: well balanced, holds tune nicely, comfy neck... it's really quite easy to get along with. The 26.5" neck allows for some pretty hefty tunings if you're so inclined; it's currently in drop-A but could certainly handle going lower with an appropriate setup. The pickups are by our old mate Seymour, and they're good: passive, sensible output, balanced and fat and a pretty blank slate to add as much gain as you see fit via pedals or amps. Extreme metal is a lucrative business, so this comes with a handy flight case ready to tour with so you can go relieve your legions of fans of their black tee budget for the week. Hell. Yeah.
