Twenty Cent Guitar Co TL-Thinline Natural Satin 2025
Twenty Cent Guitar Co TL-Thinline, made in Australia 2025, natural satin. 20c is the project of local Hobart guitar maker Tim Caldwell, combining some native Australian tonewood with twists on some classic shapes. This one is straight up beautiful: the camphor laurel top, streaky fretboard, F-hole and gold hardware look fantastic. The neck is a generously chunky C shape, not crazy big, but it's on the fat side and sits reassuringly in the hand. The tone is great: fat and creamy down low, open and warm in the mids, shimmering with chime on top. There's some cool unique touches here, like the offset control plate, the bevelled top... it's a cool thing.
