Valencia H718 Student Model Red 1975

Valencia H718, very red, made in Japan around 1975. These days, you can buy a cheap and cheerful classical guitar wearing the Valencia name, but this strange beast pre-dates that brand by a decade or two. Valencia is a town in Spain, famous for guitar building, and as was the tradition of Japanese guitar makers in the 1970s, they adopted the name without too much of an actual tie to the place or the guitars that traditionally come from there. This is a Mustang-ish short scale electric, with a comfy slim neck and the remnants of a basic trem, which is currently arm-less and therefore out of commission. It's hardly fancy, but it's small and cute, sounds pretty decent and is very comfy to sit on  the couch with.
