Boss EH-2 Enhancer Pedal
What does it do? Well, it's kinda like a one band highs EQ designed to enhance the clarity from your picking. You've got three controls. The mix control affects how much extra boost you add, and is at 0 at 12'o'clock: turn to the left, it adds the boost in inverted phase, or turn right for regular phase. The frequency control changes what range your boosting, and it gets a bit too high to hear above 12, so it's probably best set below that. The sensitivity control means you can set a threshold for where the boost kicks in, so it's always on with the knob dialed to the left. Use this for adding brightness and life to a dark guitar, snazzing up your chicken-pickin' tones or as a handy buffer against high end lost through long cables or too-many-pedals.
