It's EQD's take on the Tubescreamer type overdrive, but as always with them, they pack in a heap of extra flexibility via a three-way clipping switch, a bright switch and a bandwidth toggle. That means it'll play nicely with a wider range of amps and guitars, so this will surely be a handy addition to many boards.
