Marshall JCM900s were THE amp to have in the 90s and early 00s; everywhere I went I was faced with their majestic angry glory. This fairly compact little 50w combo is a cutie; you seldom see these around the neighbourhood. It's got two switchable master volumes, but only one channel. With the gain around 9-o-clock, it cleans up pretty convincingly, but let's be honest: this is a dirty amp. It's absolutely perfect for punk and hardcore stuff or classic riff rock. Plugging in a Gibson and chugging away on some Millencolin songs is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. Very cool indeed.
