I saw a meme a while back about car stereos; it was laughing about how everyone just wants a simple AUX input these days and all those fancy 6-stackers and scrolling flashing displays are irrelevant, as you control everything else from your phone. This is the equivalent in guitar amps: an input, two band EQ and a volume, that's it. It's a tasty thick and juicy clean amp, so even without pedals for sauce, you're off to a good start. Plug in your fav pedals and you're really cooking: it lets the rest of our signal chain do the talking. Very sensible indeed.
