Fender Blender Fuzz Pedal 1990s
The Fender Blender debuted in the 1960s as one of the original takes on the fuzz genre. This example is a 90s era, Korean made, silicon driven example; a version two if you like. What you get is a fuzz, with an additional control to blend in some octave action. Without the octave, you get a fairly smooth, dark fuzz with moderate gain levels. Kick the octave in, and it gets super hairy: heaps of teeth up top, walloping bass, unhinged snarl. The controls are super interactive, so you can get a heap of different textures by playing with the sustain, tone and blend controls. Great on bass, great on guitar.
