Strymon Sunset Dual Overdrive Pedal
If you're only going to stick one drive on your board, it may as well cover a lot of ground. This is basically two independent pedals in one. The left side is switchable from a germanium style light overdrive (think Klone), a mid-hump TS style drive and a Rangemaster style treble boost. The right side offers a two-stage drive for max saturation, a hard clipping distortion and a JFET boost if you're in a more subtle fattening mood. Stack them, or don't, whatever works. As with all Strymon stuff, the magic is there as soon as you hit your first chord... it sounds great.
