Tortuga Effects is Matt Johnson's one-man show, based in Idaho USA. The CrazyEight is a handwired premium fuzz, with a switchable octave-up function. It's not subtle: this is an expansive, nasty snarl with juicy, fluffy sustain. The octave up function adds a whole extra dimension to the tone, it's especially fun playing stanky riffs high up the neck on the low strings... it's a doomparty.
