Burny PLC-45, pale pink, made in Taiwan 2002. So cute, right? We get a Fender style guitars through in shell or flamingo pink finishes, but a Les Paul Custom style in pink... what a treat. It's a little unclear if this model belonged to Burny's 'Swanky Spider' series of the late 00s, it seems to pre-date those but it's very similar in specs and aesthetic. The combo of the faded pink finish, pearl inlays and guard and the brushed chrome hardware is an awesome look.  It sounds huge: big beefy bottom end paired with a crunchy, wide midrange that loves a decent dose of gain. It's fairly bright in tone for an LPC style, there's plenty of clarity and zing on deck. Being an unchambered mahogany body, so it's on the weighty side, but it's a comfy and agreeable player with a great neck. There's a lot to like here, so nab yourself the Barbie Dreamhouse LP and melt some faces.
