Edwards E-Suffer Furniture Natural 2013
Edwards E-Suffer, Furniture Natural finish, made in Japan 2013. This is a signature model for mid-00s J-rock superstar Yoshimitsu Taki, who plays lead guitar for hardcore/alt-rockers 9mm Parabellum Bullet. It's a very convincing thing in teh hands: it feels and sounds fantastic. It's light and resonant, with excellent tuning stability, a comfy rounded neck, fast tall frets and super tidy wood and finish work all around. The pickups are great too: fat and glassy on the single coils, or growly and full on humbucker. It's articulate and clear but also creamy and complex; there's a lot to enjoy. The hardtail bridge is a curiosity on an ST-style guitar, but it's super practical. This feels like a much more expensive instrument than it is, I'm very impressed. Why Suffer needlessly?
