(SOLD) Epiphone 1958 Korina Explorer Black 2008
Epiphone 1958 Korina Explorer, made in China 2008, black finish. It's pointy, but it's classy. The Explorer is one of those perpetually cool shapes that's always managed to stay left of field whilst maintaining a certainly level of practicality. It's a striking shape, but you can still sit down with it comfortably. The combo of a tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece, quality tuners and alnico humbuckers offer a tasty crunchy tone with a whole lot of streetsmart reliability. The neck is a slim and fairly shreddable shape and is blessed with a lovely streaky piece of rosewood for the board. The comically large case is a super handy addition as they fetch a small fortune sold separately. These don't currently exist in the local new market so make a pointy companion out of this one instead and thank us later.

Cosmetic condition notes: Minor finish wear. Headstock has a minor mark on the end. The neck is pretty clean and feels nice and smooth. The back has a couple of very light buckle rash scuffs but no major marks. The sides have a couple of minor scuffs near the input jack and on the top point of the shoulder. The front is also nice and clean, no major marks, just some light play scratches. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, intonation is good, action is low, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have minor wear only, 9/10 for life left. Setup with fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
