(SOLD) Epiphone E422T Century Hollow Body Cherry 2016
Epiphone Century, cherry red, made in China 2016. This looks classy, no? The Century is a reissue of the 1966 original, released as part of Epiphone's top-tier 'Inspired by Gibson' line. It's a fully hollow slimline body, so it's wide across the top, but only 46mm deep. The neck is a comfy moderate C style shape, and the classy hardware and lightweight body make for easy playing. The single P-90 does good work: under a light touch, it's rounded and gooey with a pleasing balance. Dig in a bit harder, and you'll get a snappy, papery attack and a percussive clarity, rewarding a nuanced player. These are no longer available new, so if you're after a skinny jazz cherry bomb, this one might be looking for you too.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a couple of light scuffs on the front around the posts, no major marks. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, very minor dimples on the back only. The back has some very light scuffs ib the middle of the body and some dimples on the bottom corner. The sides have no major marks. The front has a couple of small dimples around the knobs and in the elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, intonation is good, action is low, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets look great, 9/10 for fret life left. Setup with fresh 12/54 nickel wound Moonshiners strings.
