(SOLD) Epiphone Firebird Olive Drab Green 2020
Epiphone Firebird, limited run olive drab green finish, made in China 2020. The Firebird is perenially cool, it's one of the most stylish guitar designs ever. This one is wearing a suave coat of olive drab, or army green... it's an unusual colour and looks superbly cool. The neck is a fairly chunky D shape, which feels sturdy in the hands and balances well against the body. The tone on offer is very percussive, with abounding attack and a snarky top end, balanced by a wide and slightly grindy midrange that loves a snappy riff or a palm muted chord. I can't help playing Lenny Kravitz tunes when I pick this one up, do I need to see a doctor about that or am I fine?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a couple of minor marks on the end and bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back has some dimples in the elbow area and some light scuffs on the horns and near the neck joint. The sides have some minor dimples in the elbow area and near the jack. The front has some small dimples near the tailpiece and elbow area and some light play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have very little wear, 9/10 for life left. No headstock breaks. Wearing fresh 11/49 strings.
