(SOLD) Epiphone Flying V Arctic White 2011
Epiphone Flying V, creamy white, made in China 2011. If you're going to bother playing the guitar, you may as well make a statement, right? The Flying V flopped on debut in 1958, but would go on to become a classic of the genre. It's surprisingly comfy: the neck is a comfy round shape, the access to upper frets is very easy, it's well balanced, you can even sit with it... if you sit in classical position and don't expect too much. The tone on offer is very convincing: the neck pickup is clear and punchy, while the bridge pickup is creamy, rich and immediate. The white finish looks awesome too, I reckon it's more fun than the more common black or cherry. As we like to say around here, VTEC yeah!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a couple of minor dimples on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The back has a few light scuffs around the ferrules and along the top edge. The sides have some dimples near the jack. The front has some scuffs on the edge of the top point, marks on the tailpiece, dimples near the jack and some play wear on and around the guard. A couple of the knobs are missing their caps. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. The frets have minor wear only, 9/10 for fret life left. All electrics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
