Epiphone SG G400, cherry red, lefty model, made in China 2012. The G400 is the well-appointed version of the SG from Epi, so you get tasty alnico pickups, sturdy tuners etc; it all adds up nicely. It delivers in the hands: the light body balances against the neck nicely, it feels nicely made. Tone-wise, that raucous classic SG tone is on tap: heaps of attack and crunchy midrange, perfect for punk and vintage rock stuff. The classic cherry finish has won more than a few hearts over the years; this one channels the greats and looks awesome. Picking up a pre-loved example of this in the left handed setup in tidy shape is surely a nice little addition to any southpaw's collection.

The sides have no major marks, just a couple of tiny dimples near the knobs. The front is also pretty clean, just some light scuffs near the jack and some light play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8.5/10).

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good. Frets have very little wear, 8/10 for life left. All electronics tested and working properly. Setup with fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
