Epiphone SG G-400 Pro, ebony finish, made in China 2016. Looks mean, sounds mean, plays nice. This is the high end version of the SG by Epiphone, so you get some sturdy hardware, nice pickups and a proper mahogany body. That adds up well in the hands: the moderately chunky neck and light body are easy to get along with and it's nicely weighted and holds tune convincingly. The pickups are growly low gain humbuckers, but they also split to singles via push/pull pots and deliver a fun and very usable single coil tone. This delivers that snappy, immediate SG-tone that's great for punk and classic rock; there's a nice balance of chime and punch. Plus, black is the new black.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock and neck pretty clean. The back has some light scuffs, mostly on the top edge and in the middle. The sides are pretty clean, just some light dimples around from the jack and knobs. The front is nice and clean, just some light scuffs behind the tailpiece and some light play scratches on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8.5/10).

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good. Frets have very little wear, 8.5/10 for life left. All electronics tested and working properly. Setup with fresh 11/49 strings. Tidy!
