Fender '62 Reissue Precision Bass, made in Japan 1989-90, classic three tone sunburst. There's something perfectly 'right' about these mid-Fujigen-era P-models; this one just adds up perfectly in the hands. It's light and very loud unplugged; you can really feel the notes in your chest before you even plug it in. Once powered up, it gets better: this doles out the creamy, smooth P-tone with absolute ease. It's an easy player, so it's very simple to dial in a fat tone and let your fingers do the rest. The sunburst/tort/rosewood combo never goes out of style, and this one does it well. It's in very good shape considering it's approaching thirty, there's really not a whole lot of wounds from surviving through all sorts of musical trends and fads over the years. This is gimmick-free: classic finish, well made, plays and sounds great, works a treat. Long live the P!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. There's a pair of dings and a few minor scratches on the back, a minor ding on the headstock and a dimple near the input jack. There's some minor pitting on the chrome, but everything works fine. Nothing major at all. Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets look good, minor wear only, 6.5/10 for life left. Set up with 45/105s. Simple and tasty!
