(SOLD) Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass Olympic White 2015
Fender American Deluxe Jazz, olympic white, made in USA 2015. This is really good, it works very well indeed. The American Deluxe series was a couple of notches above the most basic USA offerings, so you get some tasty appointments. It's got a pair of noiseless single-coil pickups and an active pre-amp, so you can dial in a huge punchy tone with the bass and treble boosted, or switch to passive mode for a more vintage-style tone. The adjustable bridge is clever, the tuners are lightweight and super smooth, it's got an extra string tree for the A-string... it all works well. Aesthetically, this borrows the bold decals, bound fretboard and block inlays from the mid-seventies models, which paired with the creamy white finish looks amazing. The neck features some pretty birds-eye grain in the maple on the back and headstock, it's a really lovely-looking piece of wood and feels equally slick and reassuring in the hands. This is a proper pro bass, if you're looking for a reliable working companion this will surely perform admirably.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock has some minor scuffs on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, rub wear from play only. The back has a couple of dimple on the bottom horn and back edge behind the string ferrules, as well some widespread very light scuffs on the back around the whole body. The sides have a dimple or two in the elbow area as well as a little scuff near the jack, no major marks. The front has. afew dimple near the bridge and in the elbow area as well as some standard scuffs on the guard and horns from play. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have minor wear only, 8/10 for fret life left. Set up with fresh 45/130s.
