(SOLD) Fender American Standard Stratocaster Black 2006
Fender American Standard Strat, black, 2006. It's hard to believe this guitar is fourteen years old, it's in near-perfect condition. This one has a little 60th anniversary badge on the headstock, commemorating six decades since Uncle Leo got going making instruments out of his radio repair shop, although it's not technically an 'anniversary model'. It's a sensible, sturdy Strat. The neck is slim and quick, with a sleek satin finish and a comfy modern C shape. The pickups are glassy and full, with a low noise floor and plenty of attack and chime. The hardware is sturdy and it holds tune nicely... it all just works. There's been more than a few notable players toting a black Strat before, maybe you're next?

Cosmetic condition notes: negligible finish wear. The headstock and neck are very clean, no major marks. The back has some very light scuffs along the back edge, belly carve and elbow area. The sides have no major marks, just a couple of very minor scuffs on the top horn and near the jack. The front is also very clean, just some very light scuffs behind the bridge and some light play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have almost no wear, 9/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
