(SOLD) Fender Custom Shop '56 NOS Stratocaster Fiesta Red 2013
Fender Custom Shop '56 NOS Strat, fiesta red, made in USA 2013. Firstly: heck, what a neck! This beautiful item is blessed with a superb piece of birdseye maple, so the neck is dressed head to foot in stunning tight little burls, it's really quite something to behold. The neck has 22 frets and a modern radius, so that's a handy little modern style touch for a vintage style Strat. The gold hardware, including factory locking Sperzel tuners, adds a further level of bling to the crisp fiesta finish... it's pretty hard to ignore this one as it beams brightly from the wall of the store. The second gen Nosieless pickups are clear and crisp with plenty of articulation and clarity, and as you'd guess, they're very quiet indeed between notes. The body is amazingly resonant, it's probably the loudest guitar in the store when strummed unplugged. This one has barely been played, so it's in almost mint condition and comes with the original docs and G&G tweed case. Why wait several months and pay thousands more for a new one? Strat-tastic.

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. Headstock and neck are basically clean, no major marks. The back has some very light scuffs along the back and bottom edges and above the cavity, no major marks. The sides have no major marks. The front has light play scuffs on the guard and top horn, no major marks. Overall: excellent condition (9.5/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets look basically brand new, 9/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
