(SOLD) Fender Deluxe Active Precision Bass Black 2006
Fender Deluxe Precision, made in Mexico 2006, black. It's like a P, but meaner! What you get here is a classic P shape with a slightly slimmed down neck, an added Jazz style pickup in the bridge and an active bass/treble boost and a pickup balancer, plus a Hipshot D-tuner added later for good measure. That makes it a very versatile instrument; you an dial in all a tone for whatever the situation requires. The neck is straight and sturdy, it feels great in the hands and has a nice lightly-played-in feel. The original gold anodized guard is included, but the custom cut black single ply guard really adds a certain classy aura. This is a great do-it-all gigging bass; it'll happily switch from a power metal throwdown on Friday night to a shiny corporate gig on Saturday. Deluxe as, bud.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. Headstock and neck both pretty clean, no major marks. The back has a couple of light scuffs around the bottom edge and middle, nothing nasty. The sides are very clean, minor scuffs near the jack only. The front has no major marks, just some light play scuffs on the guard and top horn. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets look good, minor wear only, 8/10 for fret life left. Set up with flatwound strings.
