(SOLD) Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster Pewter Grey 2007
Fender Clapton Strat, pewter grey metallic, made in USA 2007. Sir Eric has taught us all a thing or two, directly or indirectly; he's one of the most iconic guitar players of all time. This is mid-00s version of his long running signature model, so you get the Fender Noiseless singles paired with the classic Eric touches: 22 fret 9.5" radius soft V neck, TBX treble boost/cut and a mid boost, 50s style bridge and decals. The grey has yellowed a little, developing a minor golden tinge, which looks super cool. The sparkly black guard is a nice touch too, it adds a tasty touch of glam to the aesthetic. The sound on offer is a precise and clear take on the classic Strat spank, which you can set on fire with the boost controls and really get the pancakes cooking. Very solid, very enjoyable... give Fender a ton of claps for this one.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and rub wear on the back and some play wear on the board only. The back has minor scuffs around the cavity and elbow area and a break in the corner of the trem cover. The sides have minor dimples in the elbow area and near the knobs. The front has a dent in the elbow area, dimples around the back edge and jack and some play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. Electronics tested and working properly. The frets have minor wear only, 8/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
