(SOLD) Fender Highway One Stratocaster Honey Blonde 2008
Fender Highway One Strat, honey blonde, made in USA 2008. The Highway One series was always really good, and like anything that Fender does that punches well above it's price point, it was discontinued. The recipe is pretty simple: a 70s styled Strat with the big headstock, slim C neck and three crispy vintage style alnico single coils, finish off in thin satin nitro. The finish marks easily and wears quickly, so you can see the rub wear around the edges already. It also lets the wood breathe, so there's a certain responsiveness in the feel and airiness in the tone you don't get with an Am Std. If you're after a punchy USA Strat that feels great for a slim dime, this will surely punch the ticket.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some minor scuffs on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear only. The back has some dimples along the belly carve, back edge and bottom horn, as well as widespread light rub wear. The sides have a few dimples and marks on the top horn and some light scuffs in the elbow area, near the rear strap pin an along the bottom edge. The front has a couple of dimples behind the bridge and near the jack, some rub wear on the elbow area and some standard play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have minor wear only, 8/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners.
