(SOLD) Fender Japan '69 Mustang MG69 Vintage White 2010
Fender Mustang, yellow white, crafted in Japan 2010-11. When folks think about great colours for a Mustang, usually the first thoughts are red and blue, but dang... this buttery, custardy, creamy yellow white is a real looker. The dark tort guard, classy rosewood board and bug bold CBS-style logos round of the aesthetic perfectly. Between the lightweight undersize body, slim 40mm nut, light weight and the cheeky trem, this basically plays itself, it's so much fun. The tone on offer is an immediate, snappy punch, with a naturally short sustain and a dash of sizzle on the top end. It lends itself well to grungy chords and surfy riffs and maintains a certain clarity even when doused in gain and effects. The funnest!

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some dimples on the end and front near the Mustang logo. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The back has minor dimples in the middle of the body and in the elbow area, no major marks. The sides have some dimples in the elbow area. The front has some dimples near the knobs, in the elbow area and behind the tailpiece, as well as some play wear on both horns and the guard. Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, intonation is good, neck is straight, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have minor wear only, 8/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
